So here it is.
My life has changed dramatically in the last year. A year ago I had a cushy high tech job and I was in a relationship of seven years. Last October I was laid off and in November my girlfriend and I broke up. I’ve spent the last year working in bars and applying myself to photography.
I am at a unique point in my life. I am able to make ends meet with the night job, and I spend the rest of my time rediscovering what it is to be myself and taking pictures.
A few days ago a friend of mine posted about the JetBlue All-You-Can-Jet deal on Facebook and I realized that I was in, for maybe the only time in my life, a situation where I could take advantage of that type deal.
Dipping into my precious remaining savings, I jumped on the pass. I am going to spend September 8th to October 8th travelling and visiting all the friends that I have been separated from geographically.
This is the beginning of my big adventure.
I will be updating flickr and twitter streams as I go. I will be doing larger updates here. When I get back I will be going through all my photos, editing and posting them.
I will be gone for a month. My current plan has me hitting Seattle, San Francisco, Boston, Chicago, Boston, New York City, DC. I may add Baltimore, Portland, Tampa and Phoenix to that list as well if I can find the time and places to crash in each.
